2nd Annual Cowboy Day Celebration - Saturday, July 24th 9am until 4pm.  All day festivities at the Historic Village at Lee Wayside include Cowboys & Indians, pony  rides, music and many other events to entertain all ages.  Entry into the Village is $5 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under.  Also offered is the Cowboy Day Train Ride leaving the Dillwyn Depot at 9am, returning at noon.  Train Ride tickets are $35 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under.  Train tickets include admission to the Village during the afternoon. 

Each year, the Town of Dillwyn hosts a Christmas Parade which various local and state officials participate in. The Christmas Parade will be held this year on December 19th, 2009. Click here to download the parade entry form.

Buckingham Branch Railroad, through the Old Dominion Chapter of the National Railroad Historical Society Inc., offers train rides at various times of the year.  Visit the Buckingham Branch website at www.buckinghambranch.com.
