2nd Annual Cowboy Day Celebration - Saturday, July 24th 9am until 4pm. All day festivities at the Historic Village at Lee Wayside include Cowboys & Indians, pony rides, music and many other events to entertain all ages. Entry into the Village is $5 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under. Also offered is the Cowboy Day Train Ride leaving the Dillwyn Depot at 9am, returning at noon. Train Ride tickets are $35 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under. Train tickets include admission to the Village during the afternoon.
Each year, the Town of Dillwyn hosts a Christmas Parade which various local

Buckingham Branch Railroad, through the Old
Dominion Chapter of the National Railroad Historical Society Inc., offers train rides
